This tote bag pays tribute to Khaled Nabhan, the Palestinian grandfather, and his granddaughter Reem, whom he described in a moving sentence:
“She is the soul of my soul – hiya rouh a rouhi – هي روح الروح”
Today, we talk in numbers, in balance sheets, in data. But behind each number, there is a story. A life. A connection. This bag is a way to remember. To not forget.
To remember that Reem, barely three years old, was a little girl. And that Khaled, her grandfather, loved her with an infinite love, visible in every word, every silence, every look.
The design makes this tribute discreet but powerful: the phrase is written in English and Arabic, and the letters are filled with the olive tree motifs of the keffiyeh, a symbol of peace, resistance and generosity.
Above, birds of paradise soar—those of pure souls. Below, a touch of red watercolor recalls pain, but also tenderness.
Because these aren't just numbers. They're stories. And these stories must stay with us, to awaken empathy, to revive awareness, to push us to speak out.
